AltSettings

Alternative settings for custom applications or special situations. Entries should be separated with the pipe character (|). Most customers will leave this entry blank.

Parameters marked with an * are custom (chargeable) routines. Contact your ACEware technician for a custom quote.

COPYPAYID*

Enables the custom routine to copy Pypayid value into the pyudfc1 field.

DLBYLINK

Configure how downloads work for search logs and class rosters. Instead of the auto download method, it will generate a hyperlink to the target file.

DOUBLECLICK*

Enables the custom Doubleclick widget on the registration confirmation page.

EMFPKG

Assesses mandatory fees to child courses in a package.

EMICA

Creates an Email Me when courses are available link for groups with no current courses. Uses the email from HelpEmail INI setting.

GENVNUM

Auto assigns an Invoice number to the Pay records in the transaction when a user selects the Invoice option at Checkout.

GROUPALIAS

To use a word other than "Family" for group memberships. Alias is entered after the colon, e.g. GROUPALIAS:Group

'Group' will be used by ACEweb instead of 'Family' when showing the family membership rates.

NOCATINTAREAS

By default, when users request information on selected subjects (interests on person .awp), the email sent to staff includes the selected namecode records. It will also include the name from any catalog records that have the same code as the selected interests. E.g. if they have an ART interest code and an ART catalog code.

Adding this setting to AltSetting will prevent those catalog items from being included in the staff email.

NOREDATE

ACEweb normally resets the registration add date and time to the current date and time when recycling registration records (e.g. a previous attempt was declined so registrations were deleted).

To keep the original add date/time, enter NOREDATE into AltSettings.

PRETRUNCPAY

SQL Users Only: triggers the pretruncate method when creating Pay records. This ensures that any string value will be truncated to match the length of the field before assigning it, thus avoiding the SQL string too long error.

This can significantly increase the payment routine overhead since every character field is checked for each pay record created in the transaction.

PROMISE2WAIT

This option enables a check of courses on the Enrollment Cart when checking Membership qualifications. For example, a non-member can get on the waitlist if they have the required membership course on their cart at the time.

Note that there is no guarantee that the user will actually register in the membership course, so it leaves open the possibility of non-members being on the waitlist.

RECOUNT

Force ACEweb to recalculate counts whenever new registrations are posted.

XQS

For customers using non-standard course coding schemes (e.g. YOGA25F01 instead of 25FYOGA01). Enables extended quick search functionality.

Default is to stop searching if it finds a course code starting with the search keyword. The XQS setting forces ACEweb to continue searching all fields for the search keyword.
