DBDATE

Converts a date type expression to a character type expression.

Required Parameters

1. Date type field, or function (e.g. course.cobegdate, FirstofMonth(), FirstofQuarter()).

Example(s)

DBDATE(course.cobegdate) converts the the course begin date to a character expression

DBDATE(FirstofMonth()-1) returns the first day of the previous month (based on date you run the report) and converts it to a character expression
