Multi-Database Support
Student Manager 9.0 supports three database platforms, giving you the flexibility to choose the best option for your organization:
- Visual FoxPro (VFP) — The default database included with Student Manager. No additional setup required.
- Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) — Enterprise-grade database for organizations already running SQL Server infrastructure.
- PostgreSQL — Open-source database delivering superior performance with significant cost savings. Optimized for cloud hosting environments.
All features work across all three platforms.
Migration Fees
Migrating from VFP to MSSQL or PostgreSQL requires a one-time migration fee. Contact your ACEware representative for pricing and assistance with database migration.
