Determine how membership discounts are calculted based on the users' membership status at the time they enroll in the course.

• On=user will receive membership rates on courses if they enroll in them before their membership expires, even if the course starts AFTER their membership expires.
• Off=user will receive the membership rate if their membership is active when the course starts. If the course starts after their membership expires, they will receive the non-member rate.

IMPORTANT

This setting is ignored for asynchronous courses with no beginning date specified. Membership discounts will be allowed on such courses at any time as long as the user's membership is active.
