Send SMS to all Names in a Report

You can send a text message to all people in a report who have a cell phone entry AND the Opt In box is checked.

Create SMS Report

You will need to modify a report and add the massSMS() function to it:

justafter("do massSMS")

This function will run the SMS routine after the report preview is closed.

Note: a sample report is available in the Reports > Demographics > Mailing Labels area, called Mass SMS List. Contact your ACEware technician for a copy if you don't have the report in your system.

Send SMS

Once the report is created:

1. Run the report with your selected query.
2. After closing the report preview, the SMS window opens.
3. Enter the SMS text:

-Type in the subject and message.

• Or click the Load Template button and select a template.

4. Click the Send button.
