Accessibility Compliance
The default ACEweb templates meet the following accessibility standards:
- Section 508 standards ↗️ for Web-based intranet and internet applications as set forth in the Rehabilitation Act.
- Priority 1 Checkpoints of the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 ↗️.
Note: you must also set the Accessible INI setting to ON to run in accessibility mode.
IMPORTANT
- Your organization takes possession of the templates once they are installed. If you make any changes to the templates, it is your responsibility to make certain they continue to meet accessibility standards.
- ACEweb Makeovers: we do offer a service to apply a design to your ACEweb site. However we don’t create the design and are not responsible to make certain it meets accessibility standards. That is the responsibility of the entity that created the design for you.
- Content: your organization is responsible to ensure that content meets accessibility standards. E.g. catalog descriptions, images, embedded media, etc.
