SMS Templates

SMS templates can be used when sending messages from course Quick Reports, and are used when sending reminder and emergency text messages.

Access SMS templates from Module > Catalog > SMS Templates.

Notes

• The template Name value will be used as the CRM subject. You can change that when sending the message.
• Twilio text messages have a character limit of 160 characters. That character count includes spaces and punctuation. Please note, Twilio will not break long messages into multiple SMS messages. It will truncate text after the 160 character limit has been met.
• If including data fields and functions to generate a message, the generated message can be no longer than 160 characters.

Create SMS Template

1. Select Module > Catalog > SMS Templates.
2. When the Add/Edit SMS Template screen opens, click the Add button.
3. Enter a unique code, name and message.
4. Click the Save button.

Edit SMS Template

1. Select Module > Catalog > SMS Templates.
2. When the Add/Edit SMS Template screen opens, find the template you want to edit.
3. Make your changes.
4. Click the Save button.
