Prevent Duplicate Registrations Based on Catalog Code

ACEweb has the ability to prevent a student from registering in a course with the same catalog code. For example, stop them from registering in multiple courses with the ACE010 catalog code.

Enable Registration Checking

Set the StopMultiReg INI setting to ON in the ACEweb.ini.

How it works

ACEweb will check the catalog code (cocatcode) of the course they are trying to add to their Cart.

If it finds that the student has previously enrolled in a course with that catalog code, the student will not be able to add the course to their Cart, even if the course is for a current or future date:
