Address Mapping

Student Manager provides a mapping report function that can map valid addresses on an interactive map in your web browser.

Set Up Address Mapping

1. You must generate a Bing Maps Key and enter it into the Map Key field on System Preferences. Instructions for generating a Bing Maps Key are located at the Microsoft Developer Network site:

2. Downlaod the Mapping files ↗️ from the Student Manager Tools website.

You need the customer password to download the files. Contact your ACEware technician if you don't have it.

3. Unzip the Mapping.zip files into your Student Manager folder.
4. Modify your desired Mailing Label report, add the Mapping() function to it, and save your changes.

Generate Address Map

1. Run the Address Mapping report you created (see Setting Up Address Mapping section above).
2. You will asked to choose the mapping address, i.e. Name or Firm addresses:

3. Your web browser will now open with the addresses mapped. The system will display a red dot for all addresses, centered on the first address in your report. Use the zoom tools to view other addresses.
