Instructor Attendance Tracking ​

If you have the optional Attendance Tracking module, you can allow instructors who have access to record session attendance.

IMPORTANT

  • Instructors can NOT create session attendance records online. Staff must enable and create Attendance Tracking records from within Student Manager.
  • Instructors can add a custom session via the Attendance Tracking page. They can only do this
  • Editing Grades: the ACEweb Access Level on the instructor's record and the Web Grade Book Access Level on the course record's ACEweb Info tab must both be set to allow grade editing (level 4 or above).

Installation ​

The Attendance Tracking module requires additional files for both Student Manager and ACEweb. Please contact your ACEware technician for installation files/instructions.

Record Attendance ​

To record attendance, the instructor clicks the appropriate Track button in the course list. This will bring up the Attendance Tracking page:

The instructor can enter hours, attendance code, and grade for each session.

Add Custom Date Records ​

Allow Instructors to add custom date records for a course.

To add custom Attendance Tracking dates:

  1. Click the appropriate Track button.
  2. Click the Add Custom Date button.
  3. Select the students who need the additional tracking.

  1. Select the date for the new attendance records.
  2. Click the Submit Custom Selections button.
