Using a Set of Custom Templates for Multiple Courses

You can use one set of custom reg templates for multiple courses. For example, a 'tours' set for a group of Tours.

Naming Templates

Using the tours example, you would name your custom templates accordingly:

• Course Status: tours.htm if using the default enrollment routine; tours.wcs if using an express reg template.
• Enrollment Cart: ECTours.htm
• Registration Confirmation Page: RCtours.htm
• Confirmation Email: RCtours.txt

Information Page Field Entry

You will only enter the name of your custom template set in the Information Page field on the course ACEweb Info tab. E.g. for the tours example, you just enter tours:

ACEweb will use the appropriate template at each step.

Note

The same custom template rule applies to registration confirmation templates. If the user enrolls in courses in the custom group, it will use the custom templates. If the user mixes courses on their Cart, e.g. some from the Tours group and some from others, ACEweb will revert to the default templates to display the registration confirmation page/send confirmation email.
